As the
Director, Human Resources, reporting directly to
Vice-President, Human Resources, you will play a key role in creating a dynamic workplace that reflects our core values, brand beliefs, and people strategy for a growing organization of 600+ employees. This role is ideal for a strategic HR leader with experience who thrives in a demanding environment, influences executive decision-making and drives HR initiatives that enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
Primary Functions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managers on all human capital matters, influencing business strategy through a people and culture lens.
- Lead the design and execution of HR strategies related to total rewards, talent management, recognition, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives to ensure a strong talent pipeline and long-term organizational sustainability.
- Work closely with Delta to align our people strategies with shared business objectives while fostering a high-performing, inclusive and engaging culture.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture that reflects the organization commitment to equity and transparency.
- Establish and embed a comprehensive employee listening strategy, leveraging surveys, feedback tools, and insights to inform decision-making and action planning.
- Evaluate and optimize total rewards programs, including compensation and incentive programs across the enterprise to align with organizational goals.
- Ensure recognition programs are strategically aligned with compensation, incentives, and business outcomes.
- Lead, develop and mentor HR teams across multiple locations.
- Provide oversight and leadership for complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
- Champion a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership demonstrated scope across multiple HR disciplines.
- Deep expertise in talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement, with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable HR priorities.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and optimizing compensation and incentive programs aligned with performance and organizational goals.
- Recognized for effective employee relations strategies and conflict resolutions within a fast-paced Reservations Customer Engagement Center environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR standard processes, employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional business insight combined with strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to leverage data to inform HR decisions and influence outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a lean HR environment where the HR leader may serve as the HR professional to deliver enterprise or business-unit-level critical initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in travel, hospitality, or related customer-focused industries preferred.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all organizational levels.
- Membership in SHRM, WorldatWork or another HR professional organization and HR certification are highly valued.

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE
Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend may be required as job duties demand.

SALARY RANGE
$95,717 - $164,303
