Basic Qualifications

- Production Planning
- Engineering
- Aviation / aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modification
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
- Experience writing manufacturing work instructions or technical documents
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Job Description
We are Lockheed Martin
You will be a member of the Johnstown Production Planning organization in support of the following programs: C-130, F-35, F-16, and/or the Machine Shop. The Production Planning department is responsible for writing and maintaining work instructions, controlling configuration management, and incorporating engineering changes.
What You Will Be Doing
The Production Planner Spec will be responsible for the job functions and roles listed below:
- Authors and maintains the planning of various manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, and installation relating to a specific build area.
- Creates work instructions for unscheduled production tasks (Deficiency Reports).
- Maintains aircraft configuration management by controlling Manufacturing Bill of Materials and incorporating engineering changes into the planning.
- Reviews completed work for accuracy and policy coherence.
- Performs on-the-job training of team members.
- Attends regular Production meetings, provides customer support, and works closely with cross-functional groups.

Desired Skills

- Experience conducting training
- Experience with manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM) or configuration management
- Greenbelt certified or familiar with continuous improvement frameworks (A3, 6S, Lean)
Experience with the following software a PLUS: Solumina, MTO, CAPP, SFM, SAP, Apriso
