THE TEAM
The easyJet Procurement Team manages a substantial share of the company’s £1 billion external expenditures across various departments. As a Procurement Manager within the Operations Procurement team, you will focus on services related to Ground Handling and Aircraft Appearance.
THE ROLE
You will support a dynamic portfolio by creating an exciting Procurement Category Plan. This involves analysing spend data, conducting market analysis, and developing compelling strategies to engage stakeholders and suppliers. You will lead tender processes and design templates for contracts and new requirements, all aimed at maximising value for easyJet.
Working closely with your colleagues, you will provide procurement support and play a pivotal role in Supplier Relationship Management to align strategic partners with easyJet’s vision. This energised and purpose-driven role makes you a driving force behind our pursuit of excellence and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand market dynamics and create innovative category plans
- Skilled in relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Proficient in understanding complex specifications and contract scopes
- Financially savvy with the ability to analyse detailed financial and management information
- Self-starter with determination and tenacity to deliver results to the bottom line
- Confident in influencing and challenging at senior management level
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experienced in managing end-to-end competitive tender processes
- Experience in Ground Handling or Airline procurement is advantageous but not essential

PRACTICALITIES
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office.
