Position: Aviation Health Coordinator
This position will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all medical and regulatory requirements applicable to aviation technical personnel, maintaining alignment with AFAC regulations, overseeing occupational and preventive health programs, and promoting a strong culture of wellness, self-care, and medical fitness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with medical and occupational health regulations established by AFAC for aviation technical personnel.
- Design, implement, and monitor policies, guidelines, and procedures related to aviation health management.
- Coordinate and supervise medical and nursing staff under their responsibility, ensuring the effective execution of health programs and processes.
- Develop and manage preventive health programs focused on the safety, health, and well-being of aviation personnel.
- Monitor health indicators, analyze trends, and develop data-driven action plans.
- Identify health risks that may impact the medical fitness of aviation technical personnel and implement preventive measures.
- Design and implement health promotion, wellness, and prevention campaigns across operational bases.
- Analyze health assessments and medical profiles to develop effective intervention strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and evidence required for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Coordinate field health initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and compliance.
- Promote a culture of self-care, prevention, and shared responsibility regarding health and wellness.
- Collaborate with Operations, Flight Safety, and Human Resources teams to strengthen the overall health management of personnel critical to flight operations.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree required.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in occupational health, aviation medicine, or highly regulated environments.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, preferably involving AFAC requirements.
- Experience designing and implementing preventive health programs and wellness initiatives.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of health metrics management and healthcare data analysis.
- Experience supporting regulatory audits and document control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to travel.
- Based in Monterrey or Mexico City.
- Strong leadership, influencing, communication, analytical thinking, and results-oriented skills.
