For our Front Office Team, we are looking for you as
Fleet Manager – Military Customer
unlimited – full time – 40 hour-contract
Your mission:
You optimize product availability in regards of the contract commitment by managing preventive maintenance, repairs and the standardizing of engine, module and accessory configuration. In addition, you improve product reliability based on specific customer requirements, the customization of scheduled maintenance and the anticipation of standardization campaigns.
Your responsibilities:
- Guarantee contractual engine availability for the closed customer pool while maximizing cost efficiency and contract profitability
- Own, size and continuously challenge the fleet (pool size, spare ratio, configuration standards) against actual and forecast demand
- Take and document data-driven decisions on premature/preventive removal, fleet optimization, configuration management, slotting and repair priority as well as maintenance-level selection
- Define, deploy and maintain the rules, KPIs, dashboards and digital tools required to make fleet management proactive rather than reactive
- Lead joint customer/internal investigations whenever availability, reliability or cost targets are at risk and turn findings into corrective and preventive actions
- Drive a structured continuous-improvement cycle across fleet processes, decision rules and tools
Your skills & qualifications:
- You have successfully completed your university studies, e.g. in engineering, business or equivalent
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in the field of aeronautical business
- Good technical knowledge of gas turbines preferable helicopter engines e.g. equipped on NH90 Helicopter
- Demonstrated experience managing pooled, leased or power-by-the-hour engine fleets, ideally including direct exposure to a closed customer pool model
- Excellent ability to analyze and summarize information to deduce the right decision
- The use of SAP, Office 365 and Power BI is a matter of course for you
- Good communicator (remote multi-relational - customer and internal company) as well as good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent international communication skills with fluent Business English & German language skills
