Role Introduction
Reports to: Occupational Health Manager
As part of the Group Medical Department, you will join our Occupational Health team who is dedicated to supporting our employees’ healthcare needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Company to develop, implement and maintain corporate occupational health policies and protocols to manage their occupational health (OH) and wellbeing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders on OH related programmes such as medical benefit planning & support, emergency & accident planning, and health promotion
- Be responsible for absence management to enable early intervention and return to work
- Handle coordination of pre-employment examinations and fitness for duty assessments
- Develop and review procedures for in-flight medical incidents, including Inflight Medical Provisions, e.g. inflight medical kits, first aid kits, inflight medical assistance protocols, water and food hygiene monitoring
- Support public health and crisis management
- Support passenger services such as accommodations for passengers with disabilities, passenger complaint management and investigation, etc.
- Support the implementation of Company Alcohol and Others Drugs (AOD) Programme
- Support the coordination and development of Company wellbeing events.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in diverse fields across Internal Medicine, Coronary Care, and Emergency Medicine
- Previous experience in occupational medicine, medical insurance administration or employee wellbeing is preferred
- Valid license in Hong Kong is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare delivery system in Hong Kong is a plus
- Overseas medical training and work experience is a plus
- Excellent command of spoken and written English. Spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua) is an advantage
- Polished interpersonal and communication skills to interact with people in a multicultural environment
- Sound problem solving, planning and organisation skills with ability to independently manage and prioritise multiple tasks with defined time constraints
- Project management and analytical skills are a plus
- An assertive, self-assured and patient team-player who can always exercise a high level of professionalism and sound judgement
- High proficiency in MS office suites is essential.
