Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Entry Level or Associate Project Management Specialist (Level 1 or Level 2) to join the BCA Avionics Design Center Project Integration Team based in Everett, Washington.

This position supports complex development projects across all BCA aircraft programs. As a member of the project integration team you will partner with Design Engineering and airplane programs to plan, organize and complete new avionics development projects.

The selected candidate will be involved in determining project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle, project constraints, and flows for certification.

The selected candidate will also identify resources to meet project goals, develop and implement project communication plans, identify project risks and develop mitigation plans, and provide assessment of project performance to appropriate management levels.

The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers, leadership, customers and suppliers. This position also requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Other essential qualities are a positive attitude, self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

Assists in the preparation, coordination, scheduling and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans. Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case. Gathers, organizes and provides data to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Supports the coordination and communication to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.


  • 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience


  • 1+ years of experience in Project Management. 
  • 1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership.
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 1+ years of experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • 1 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment.
  • 1+ years of experience developing and managing metrics.
  • 1+ years of experience in a position that requires strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.


Typical Education & Experience:

Entry Level (Level 1): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Entry Level (level 1): $61,200 - $66,240.

Summary pay range for Associate (level 2): $73,950 - $80,040.
