Job Duties:
- Developing highly specialized software that tests subway train subway systems including brakes, throttle control systems, radios, automatic doors, lighting, HVAC, and other electronic subsystems;
- Analyzing complex electrical schematics in order to develop test plans that can identify faults to the ambiguity group level;
- Developing communication interfaces to a variety of highly specialized train subsystems and software that emulates train subsystems behavior;
- Customizing and configuring ATS-5000 test stations for each customer’s unique requirements;
- Architecting, designing, and implementing software solutions for complex, high- performance systems in collaboration with other engineering disciplines;
- Analyzing schematics and advising engineers on electronic PCB testing methodologies;
- Debugging and fixing issues in test program sets (TPS) and test instrumentation;
- Designing, authoring, and conducting internal and external training sessions and prepare materials for the same.
- Research and development of Integration of AI assisted workflow to increase efficiency and reduce development time of Applications.
- Using MCP Server, React, Langchain, Python, OpenAI, and FastAPI for backend development.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or closely related field plus seven (7) years of experience in job offered or relevant field.
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience with the following:
- Schematic analysis and development of test methodologies;
- TestStand, LabVIEW, C#, Python;
- Instrumentation (PXI, LXI, and/or GPIB) and instruments like DMM, DAQ, SCOPE, Matrix switching, VNA, Spectrum analyzer, and/or XJTAG.
