At Swissport Cargo Services Liège, we are looking for a Workforce Planner who will play a key role in ensuring our cargo operations run efficiently. You will be responsible for aligning workforce planning with operational needs, ensuring that the right people are available at the right time to handle our daily cargo activities.
Your organizational skills, analytical mindset and ability to adapt quickly will contribute directly to the smooth running of our operations.
🎯 Your mission
As a Workforce Planner, you are responsible for organizing and optimizing workforce planning based on operational requirements. You ensure that staffing levels match cargo volumes, flight schedules and business needs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
🚀 Your responsibilities
- Create and manage work schedules for different employee groups based on operational requirements.
- Monitor daily workforce-related issues such as absences, sickness, delays, accidents and attendance records.
- Review flight schedules and adapt workforce planning accordingly.
- Prepare and communicate employee schedules within the defined planning cycle.
- Plan staffing levels according to cargo volumes, operational requirements and workload.
- Manage leave requests while ensuring compliance with legal and recovery leave balances.
- Coordinate workforce planning information with temporary employment agencies.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving workforce planning and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and environmental guidelines.
👤 Your profile
You are a structured and proactive professional who enjoys working in an environment where planning, flexibility and problem-solving are essential.
You have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to take initiative.
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent French and basic knowledge of English.
- A clean criminal record certificate.
