Position Summary
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of IT and business projects within MAG, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, quality, governance, and business outcomes are achieved. Working within a structured PMO environment, the incumbent applies Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, or PMBOK delivery methodologies while providing clear reporting to stakeholders. Beyond project coordination, the role proactively resolves delivery issues, secures key decisions, manages vendor performance, supports portfolio reporting, strengthens delivery governance and continuous improvement, and ensures projects deliver sustainable business value. Aviation industry experience, enterprise IT delivery expertise, and professional project management certifications are advantageous.
Key Accountability
- Contribute to PMO & Delivery Centre of Excellence initiatives by enhancing standards, templates, governance, and delivery assurance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and portfolio health reviews.
- Support business case development, funding approvals, procurement governance, and long-term benefits tracking.
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead IT/business projects from initiation to closure, managing approved scope, timelines, budget, quality, and outcomes.
- Project Planning & Governance: Maintain integrated project plans, key artifacts (WBS, Gantt, RAID logs, change logs, financial trackers), stage-gate controls, and PMO/audit compliance.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, mitigate, escalate, and resolve risks, dependencies, and delivery issues.
- Vendor Management: Oversee third-party deliverables, performance, contractual commitments, service quality, and recovery plans.
- Stakeholder & Business Engagement: Partner across IT, Business Units, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure alignment, secure decisions, and support business readiness.
- Quality & Transition: Oversee acceptance testing, go-live, cutover, hypercare, operational transition, and post-implementation reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, delivery discipline, proactive risk management, and measurable value creation.
- Lead cross-functional project teams without direct authority through effective collaboration and communication.
- Mentor and share PMO practices to elevate overall organizational delivery capability.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Equivalent professional experience in enterprise IT project delivery may be considered where supported by strong delivery track record.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing end-to-end IT or business projects in structured enterprise environments.

- Experience managing end-to-end IT projects across applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, integration, digital platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain key project artefacts, including project plans, WBS, Gantt charts, RAID logs, financial trackers, governance reports, and closure documentation.
- Strong experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, vendors, stakeholders, testing, go-live, transition, and benefits realisation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional delivery through effective governance, escalation, decision-making, and performance reporting.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders, business units, vendors, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and technical teams.
