Regulatory Manager
Location: Milan, Italy, Paris or UK
Italian Salary: €65,000 - €75,000
Bonus: Up to 20% maximum annual performance bonus
Contract Type: full time
As Regulatory Manager, you will play a key role in supporting easyJet’s strategic position on airport and air navigation regulation across Europe. You will develop evidence-based regulatory positions, challenge inefficient cost developments and assess the impact of regulatory decisions on our business and network.
You will work closely with stakeholders across easyJet and the wider aviation industry, representing the airline in consultations, forums and industry bodies while helping to ensure airport and air navigation charges remain fair, transparent and commercially sustainable.
Key Responsibilities Include
Leading consultation responses on airport charges and air navigation regulation at both national
and European level.
Representing easyJet in regulatory forums, consultations and industry associations.
Developing strong economic arguments and regulatory positions aligned to easyJet’s commercial priorities.
Assessing airport and air navigation service provider cost proposals and challenging unjustified charges.
Building and maintaining financial and economic models to support regulatory analysis.
Conducting scenario analysis to understand the impact of regulatory decisions on costs and network performance.
Providing insight and recommendations to support decision-making across Network, Airports, Finance, Procurement and other business areas.
Building effective relationships with regulators, airports, air navigation service providers and internal stakeholders.
Monitoring regulatory developments, market trends and competitor activity across Europe.
Supporting a consistent and high-quality approach to regulatory analysis and documentation within the team.
Providing guidance and support to junior colleagues where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
A degree in Economics, Engineering, Aviation Management or a related discipline.
Experience within economic regulation, aviation, consultancy, finance, airport operations or a similar environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial, commercial and regulatory information.
Experience of financial modelling and scenario analysis.
The ability to translate technical findings into clear, compelling and influential recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
Confidence working independently while collaborating across multiple functions and teams.
Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively.
Knowledge of European airport and air navigation regulatory frameworks would be advantageous but is not essential.
Fluency in English. An additional European language, particularly French, would be beneficial.

Practicalities
This full-time role can be based in Milan, Paris or Luton with remote working and regular travel required within our network.
