About the role
As the Frigate CLCM Program Engineering Manager for Babcock projects, you will provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day management of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
You’ll be responsible for the delivery of complex engineering activities ensuring that all deliverables meet strict technical, time, cost, and quality requirements.
The Program Engineering Manager is also the main interface with the Frigate CLCM Principal Engineer and is responsible for the delivery of Engineering and Asset Management activities required to meet the requirements of the Frigate CLCM Contract. As a participant within the Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) under the Defence Seaworthiness Management System (DSwMS), you will support the Principal Engineer in the planning, management, and delivery of their accountabilities.
You will ensure the consistent application of engineering processes, resources, and toolsets in line with Babcock policy to achieve project and program technical outcomes, while maintaining compliance with DSwMS and AEO governance requirements.
