Be an active part of enabling future success by leading projects or project streams with high strategic relevance in the area of Technical Fleet Management. Become part of the SWISS Technics Development team and drive topics from idea to implementation in an interdisciplinary environment.

Starting date: June 01, 2024 or upon agreement

Tasks

Manage complex projects ensuring clear scope and on time delivery within budget and with high quality for SWISS Technics and the LH group. Project topics might vary from i.e. implementing a new tool to technical lead of an aircraft transition to (cabin) refurbishment projects.

Concrete tasks include:

  • Overall responsibility for the successful implementation of assigned projects
  • Establish time, resources and cost budget
  • Develop project plans and schedules
  • Lead project teams and manage assigned project resources
  • Provide regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders and/or management
  • Project risk management
  • Ensure that projects are performed in compliance with applicable legal/regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that projects are carried out in the most cost-conscious manner
  • Regularly document project progress and update according tools (i.e. Clarity)
  • Drive ideas to implementation by providing decision basis and recommendation based on business cases; follow approval process and prepare according documentation

Requirements

We are looking for an open minded, self-motivated and flexible person with a positive attitude, who loves to drive projects and gets (project) team members to join the ride.

  • University degree preferred; master degree or bachelor in combination with several years experience in relevant field (Aircraft maintenance and/or Project Management)
  • Successful project implementation under own lead
  • Capable of addressing technical, operational and commercial issues alike
  • Good judgment with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Project management experience in aviation industry is a plus
  • Ability to lead diverse (project) teams
  • Very good spoken and written German and English skills
