Safran is a world leader in aerospace equipment and systems for commercial, regional and business aircraft, as well as helicopters and space applications. We are part of the internationally operating Safran Group. As a modern, mid-sized company, we currently employ 90 people in our office in Wessling, close to Munich. We have consistently prepared our innovative products with the help of our application-based research approach.
This internship aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the procurement and logistics operations within our company. The intern will become acquainted with core processes and gain practical experience in the business sector.
This includes:
- Process and finalize purchase orders.
- Review and approve invoices.
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Assist in monthly inventory stock counts.
- Maintain communication with customers and suppliers, including establishing relationships with new suppliers.
- Manage the receipt and dispatch of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of economic processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity for independent and autonomous work.
- Working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Working proficiency in German is not required but would be beneficial.
