As the central figure driving easyJet's Gatwick operations, this role entails spearheading the development and execution of the daily flying schedule in collaboration with Gatwick Airport and easyJet's ICC (Integrated Control Centre). You will serve as the principal and senior operations representative for easyJet, holding ultimate responsibility to ensure the smooth functioning and success of the operation while upholding accountability to customers and crew. This role will also involve enhancing easyJet's A-CDM performance by overseeing timely updates to flight plans to surpass predefined benchmarks.

The role encompasses the ownership and continual enhancement of the daily operations strategy for easyJet's Gatwick operations. Close coordination with ground handling partners, airport authorities, and relevant stakeholders is essential to guarantee a seamless and efficient operation. Acting as the primary liaison for all Gatwick-related communications, you will integrate easyJet's priorities into all airport and third-party planning and decision-making processes.

What You Need To Do This Role

You will possess substantial and demonstrable experience within an airline or airport operations setting, coupled with a robust grasp of systems and regulatory frameworks. You will exhibit the ability to swiftly conduct impact assessments and prioritise tasks within a dynamic operational environment. Proficiency in lean methodologies and structured problem-solving approaches is essential.

To be successful, you must possess adeptness in distilling complex information into clear summaries suitable for diverse audiences across all organisational tiers. Alongside technical competencies, you will demonstrate leadership through empowerment, fostering a culture where individuals are inspired to act autonomously in alignment with easyJet's objectives and customer interests.

Lastly, you must be capable of obtaining an airside ID pass, meeting the criteria for a 5-year Criminal Record Check, and providing satisfactory references.

Location & Hours of Work

This is a full-time position based at Gatwick Airport which includes shift work (12 hour shifts / days and nights).
