As Director of Maintenance and Accountable Manager you will oversee the running of the maintenance function and ensure the facility adheres to FAA regulations.
About you:
You will have a current A&P license and experience working with general aviation / corporate aircraft. You will also have managerial experience, knowledge of FAA regulations as well as fantastic communication and people skills.
You will have a flexible approach to work be willing to work hands on when required.
You will be based in North Carolina or be willing to relocate and have the right to live and work in the USA.
About your new role:
You will lead the team, assist with hiring, ensure all staff are fully trained, create rosters and coach junior team members.
You will inspect the facility and ensure it is compliant with FAA 145 standards as well calibrating and checking tools and carrying out maintenance work when required.
You will help with planning of the work load and ensure the growth of the station as well completing aircraft release documents and liaising with customers.
