Johnson Service Group (JSG) a nationally recognized professional staffing firm, is seeking a HSE Specialist for our global manufacturing client in Jackson, Mississippi. This individual will be responsible for reducing health, safety and environmental risks for the company in compliance with national standards.
Duties:
Partner with supervisor to execute HSE management
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage the inspection and audit process
Create corrective actions based on inspections
Investigate incident reporting
Report on trends discovered during inspections and incidents to the HSE Manager
Contribute to business programs and procedures as needed
Creative company wide activities to promote safe behaviors
Assist in HSE strategic planning
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
2 years of experience in a related HSE position
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work cross-functionally
