Corporate Safety

Our Corporate Safety department implements medical programs and workers compensation and helps employees dealing with lost time to injury. They also conduct fight safety investigations and educate pilots on potential safety threats and more. The emergency response team falls under this department as well.

Job Overview And Responsibilities

  • Support the SMS team in day-to-day implementation, analysis and oversight of the enterprise-wide Safety Management System and related policies
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining decks for required SMS meetings (e.g., Corporate Safety Safety action team, Integrated Safety Round Table, etc.), analysis of safety data and supporting oversight of manuals, safety database and training records
  • Assist with some of the daily administration of meetings, timeline and project management and monitoring of performance metrics, data and Safety risk management documentation
  • Assist with interfacing and collaborating with the Corporate Safety SMS team, Corporate Safety Data team and the operating teams IKC and safety team members
  • Support the development of safety related presentations and general housekeeping items (e.g., meeting decks, minutes, etc.)
  • Analyze SMS data and identify areas of improvement for the overall SMS
  • Support oversight and maintenance of relevant Safety Manuals
  • Maintain operational knowledge to support safety risk management

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Change management, aviation management, Information systems management, Risk management, Safety management or equivalent field
  • 2 or 3 years of experience in Safety Management System
  • System safety
  • Quality management
  • Standard documentation processes
  • Critical thinking
  • Project Management organization
  • Analytic skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Business, Change management, aviation management, Information systems management, Risk management, Safety management or equivalent field
  • Quality Certifications (SMS certification, MITRE or equivalent)
  • Pilot or aintenance license
  • 2 or 3 years of experience in Safety Management System
