Facility and Equipment Coordinator

Alliance Airlines, Australia's leading charter airline, is experiencing rapid growth, and we are currently seeking a Facility and Equipment Coordinator to join the team in Adelaide. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless oversight and coordination of our Aircraft Maintenance Organization's (AMO) tooling, equipment, and facilities.

What We Are Looking For

Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager, the Facility and Equipment Coordinator's role is to provide ongoing oversight and coordination of the AMO tooling, equipment, and facilities, ensuring compliance and serviceability to enable aircraft maintenance to be carried out as required.

The Facility and Equipment Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide assistance to AMO staff as required ensuring appropriate management and maintenance of Equipment, Tooling, GSE and Facilities.
  • Ensure compliance and general housekeeping of the Tool Stores.
  • Monitor and control the purchase and allocation of aircraft maintenance GSE, Equipment and Tooling within the Alliance Airlines AMO in accordance with documented process.
  • Maintain AMO Tool, Equipment and GSE serviceability and availability across the responsible locations.
  • Monitor and assist supply chain in managing the Calibration program for all local AMO Tooling and GSE.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Alternate Tool process when required
  • Manage the maintenance program for all AMO GSE, Equipment and Tooling within the local region and ensure all software tracking programs are updated in a timely fashion.
  • Immediately inform the local LMM/SBE of GSE, equipment and tooling supply and serviceability issues across the maintenance facilities.
  • Manage the purchase process for identified required AMO GSE, Equipment and Tooling and provide advice to the relevant managers as required.
  • Consult with Line/Base Maintenance and the Maintenance Planning Department to ensure the availability of AMO Tools, equipment and GSE for on time completion of the maintenance program across the local region and network.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in the management of vendors, manufacturers and sub-contractors in relation to supply and services
  • Experience in the management and awareness of cost controls in relation to facility, tooling and equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in automotive and heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Experience in general maintenance and repairs
  • A valid forklift licence (desired)
  • Experience/training in Workplace Health and Safety (desired)
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Punctual, reliable, and self-motivating
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environment.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Well-developed computing skills, particularly MS Office.
