Assistant Manager, Cargo Business Division

As part of Changi Airport Group (CAG)’s Cargo Business Division, the candidate will work with various internal and external stakeholders to upgrade and maintain Changi’s air cargo operational efficiency, safety, security, sustainability, and resiliency; drive initiatives to create value for the air cargo community; and play a key role in securing Changi Airport’s long-term air cargo hub competitiveness.

Responsibilities And Scope

• Support day-to-day ground operations monitoring, incident handling and reporting at Changi Airfreight Centre (CAC).
• Assist with operational, safety and security issues to ensure secured and seamless cargo, vehicular and personnel flows at CAC.
• Engage key government agencies and appointed service providers to ensure air cargo safety, security and operational outcomes are achieved in an effective and efficient manner.
• Work collaboratively with ground service providers and handlers at CAC to meet established standards and service levels.
• Maintain existing operational databases, systems, and dashboards.
• Analyse and interpret datasets and prepare relevant reports.
• Participate in air cargo work streams and projects related to disciplines including but not restricted to process re-engineering, innovations, waste management.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability efforts and targets at CAC.
• Oversee Changi Air Cargo Community System (ACCS) and co-create new, value-adding community use cases that benefit the wider Changi air cargo community.
• Execute a comprehensive community implementation and engagement strategy to ensure successful delivery and encourage adoption of community use cases.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics or equivalent
• 3-5 years of working experience in logistics and supply chain roles
• Possess strong knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI Suite and Tableau
• Possess strong analytical skills and business acumen to frame issues and collaborate across disciplines in an agile environment
• Inclination for problem-solving
• Ability to engage and manage stakeholders
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Chinese language will be an advantage, as the incumbent may be required to liaise with Chinese logistics players
• Having a driving license will be advantageous
