Hotel Distribution is one of the key pillars within Media & Distribution (aka M&D) division, connecting Travel Sellers to Hotel Content Providers and providing access to more than 2 million hotel properties. In 2023, revenues will be approximately 130M euros, up from 97M euros in 2019. The Hotel Distribution Platform (HDP) department is a global team which is responsible for all content integration, product management, monitoring and operations for the Hotel Platform. The team is located across Bangalore, Nice, Madrid, Miami and Manila.

This management position aims at leading the Hotel Platform Implementation group (17 FTEs), in charge of the connectivity to hotel providers for the Amadeus Hotel Platform. This is a fast changing environment with new challenges, as we are extending our content sources through the different channels and investing in particular in Value Hotels (merchant) and Linkhotel / Hosted Content as part of our leisure diversification strategy, to complement our GDS and Aggregator business. We are integrating new partners such as TravelGateX to add new local content in an agile manner. We are also investing in new content management capabilities to provide content that is more relevant to our customers, with best quality and in a more efficient and agile manner.

This position responsibilities include defining our mid-to long-term strategy to improve the way we connect and manage hotel providers, handle increasing traffic with operational excellence, reduce our implementation timelines, cater for new requests and continue to industrialize the various methodologies and practices. Capacity to integrate new content in a short time frame with best customer satisfaction is key to realize our business ambitions for Media & Distribution and Hotel Distribution.

Additionally, this role encompasses the function of M&D senior representative in BLR site (38 FTEs). As Senior Lead of M&D within BLR, this role aims at managing local P&C activities for the whole M&D department as well as driving the various teams engagement and collaboration, in close cooperation with other M&D leads and BLR key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• As Lead of Hotel Implementation
• Own the definition of our mid- to long-term strategy to improve our content implementation services
• Collaborate with Product Management to define an innovative content integration strategy, providing the most relevant and profitable content to Travel Agencies and improving control & transparency for hotel providers
• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery excellence – delivery planning and execution with high level of predictability, quality and expectation management – a high level of stakeholder/customer satisfaction is the key outcome expected
• Maintain and improve provider connectivity in production and the quality of services
• Optimize delivery processes, industrialize and standardize content integration tooling, practices and methodologies, ensuring we increase automation, modernize technologies and reduce technical debt
• Support Web Services implementation by managing issues related to content
• Manage a strong, high potential, highly motivated, vibrant, innovative talent group in a highly effective lean organization
• Build strong competencies in all areas of technology, functional, domain and business areas
  
  

• As M&D Senior Lead Representative
• Team management and entry point for M&D in BLR
• Develop a deep understanding of ALB and Amadeus beyond the department and network and connect with key stakeholders at local and global levels
• Manage the talent acquisition and retention strategy for the team – leverage local networks to ensure career growth for team members
• Ensure improved engagement of the various M&D teams in BLR and talent development
• Be accountable for the overall compensation process, ensuring fairness and equity, in close collaboration with other M&D Leads
• Ensure visibility of M&D teams in BLR – represent the team in M&D and Labs forums
• Cascade local Labs information and liaise with the local and global teams
• Collaborate with other Senior Leads in BLR
