Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented Digital Document Process Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling, verifying, and correcting documents processed using OCR technology, ensuring high data quality and accuracy throughout the document processing workflow.
What are your responsibilities:
• Handling and verifying documents processed using OCR technology
• Checking the accuracy of data captured from documents
• Comparing data extracted by the OCR system with original documents and identifying errors
• Correcting incorrectly recognized data in accordance with applicable procedures
• Completing, updating, and verifying document metadata in the system
• Monitoring document processing statuses and identifying records requiring correction or clarification
• Reporting recurring OCR errors, system issues, or irregularities to the relevant teams or IT department
• Using advanced Excel functions, as well as basic SQL or VBA functions
• Documenting identified errors and corrective actions taken
• Ensuring high quality, completeness, and accuracy of data in the document processing process
What makes you a good fit for this role?:
• Secondary or higher education, or equivalent qualifications
• Good command of English, minimum B1 level
• Knowledge of file formats such as PDF, TIFF, JPG, DOCX, XLSX, as well as PDF/A standards
• Understanding of data protection principles, including GDPR, information confidentiality, access control, and secure file storage
• Ability to work with metadata
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Ability to use operating systems, network folders, MS Office applications, and PDF tools
