The role
As a Co-Pilot you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Day-to-day, you’ll be operating from the Norwich base on the H145 D3, which presents a variety of exciting and challenging operations, including Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) missions. You’ll be responsible for upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety, ensuring that every flight is conducted with expertise and care.
This role is full time, 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must be resident within 25 miles or 45 minutes of the Norwich Air Ambulance base (NR6 6EG).
Essential experience of the Co-Pilot
- Recent multi-engine experience
- Current or recent HEMS experience
- Experience with NVIS operations
Qualifications for the Co-Pilot
- Hold a UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) with Instrument Rating (IR)
- Qualified and Instrument rated on the H145
- Completion of Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Training (desirable)
- Fluent in English
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Valid Class 1 Medical
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
