In this context, the Customer Solution team is leading customers engagements, putting together the solutions which will allow hotel chains to unlock their distribution, while helping them focus on their key differentiators and remain competitive. Within Amadeus Hospitality, we’re part of the Engineering & Technology group and work closely with Product Management and Program Management teams. We are at the forefront with our customers, understanding their specific needs and technical environment.
Purpose
Be the main Solution entry point for a given customer or customer segment, in order to analyze and prioritize customer requirements, orchestrate all activities to ensure the development of end-to-end solutions.
He/she supports key deployment, adoption and customer projects.
Also, he/she represents the customer or customer segment with product management in order to prioritize investments and allocates R&D budget based on customer priorities.
He/She collaborates in driving knowledge management and upskilling activities for the customer or customer segment on content, products and services topics.
Main responsibilities
- Lead the solution stream of Hospitality engagement(s) (Project or BAU), building a strong understanding of our customer's specific needs and ecosystems and working with Solution Managers and TBAs internally to design solutions to meet their needs. Identify and involve relevant stakeholders within Solution, System Integration and Component teams
- Support Product Management's community product vision by ensuring solution designs can be used by all customers and add value to the product.
- Work with all teams involed in the development cycle, to ensure the delivered feature meets customer's needs:
- Product Management understanding the business problem to solve
- Solution Managers documenting the customer facing solution (e.g. IDDs)
- Reviewing HSDs and ATSs
- Help Program know and understand the risks, and prioritizing deliveries
- Propose, Drive & Lead in Architecture & Design Review Boards, design and develop modules & artefacts for Amadeus products, platform components in concert with other architects and tech leads in the team
