Position Summary
As Assistant Manager of Central Region International Marketing, you will partner directly with the Global Marketing Manager to bridge global strategies with local execution. You'll drive market research, roll out high-impact multi-channel campaigns, analyze performance ROI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost brand growth across the Central Region. Accountable for leading and supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives in the Malaysia & ASEAN Region.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Global Marketing Manager in developing marketing strategies and plans for the Central Region, aligned with global marketing objectives.
- Conduct market research and prepare analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the Central Region.
- Plan the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and events, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement in the Central Region.
- Collaborate with product management and sales teams to ensure effective product positioning and messaging for the Central market.
- Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI), and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Support the coordination and lead implementation of marketing activities with local marketing teams in the Central Region.
- Assist in the development and localization of marketing collaterals, such as brochures, presentations, and digital content, for the Central Region market.
- Maintain effective relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives in the Central Region.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer insights, and regulatory changes that may impact marketing strategies in the Central Region market.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing reports, presentations, and budgets for senior management review.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in related industry.
Area of Experience
- Experience in marketing, preferably in a global or regional capacity.
- Strong understanding of the Eastern market, including consumer preferences, cultural nuances, and business practices.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and best practices, including brand management, market segmentation, and marketing communications.
