Task Responsibilities:
- Attend airside operations for unloading and loading of aircraft
- Load planning by weight and balance of the flights according to company regulations
- Co-ordinate, monitor & supervise special cargo handling and warehouse build-up
- Co-ordinate with Airport Authorities, stations, departments and ground handler on cargo operations matters
- Co-ordinate loading plan with Sales department and Ground Handler
- Co-ordinate with outstations on space allotments
- Co-ordinate cargo irregularities with outstations, customers and ground handler
- Update shipment data into the computer system
- Handle crew related matters
- Resolving all cargo-flight related issues with all concerned
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Good spoken and written English
- Experience in airline cargo handling will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Irregular working hours
- Overseas training required
- Valid drivig license
- Willing to work on shift (day, night and overnight) as per roster
Working Conditions:
The position demands a full-time presence and requires also that vacation and other absences are planned in a way that they do not conflict with service requirements.
The position holder is based in Hong Kong. Occasional travel might be requested. Flexibility is needed within working hours. He/she is required to work on a shift basis. Overnight work is required as per flight schedule. Occasional overtime work may be needed. Work on public holiday is required.
The position holder shall wear uniforms and protective equipments provided by the Company when performing duties of flight handling. Outdoor work is needed.
