PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Engineer Manager to join our Product team dedicated to Passenger Processing solutions for the air transport industry.
This role is pivotal in designing, packaging, and delivering comprehensive networking solutions for airport environments. The candidate will collaborate on the technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices within solutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LAN, WAN, security, firewall, and cloud technologies, with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
#### Networking Solutions Development:
- Design, develop and package customized networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless configurations, tailored to the unique needs of airport environments and relying on solutions available from our Network portfolio (or from external providers when no solution is readily available internally)
- Integrate advanced security measures and firewall protections to ensure robust and secure network operations.
#### Product integration:
- Integrate the networking packages within our Passenger Processing solutions
- Communicate with our community of solution designers across geographies to ensure that the standardized networking packages are properly understood and applied for designing new solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security specialists, and cloud architects, to ensure seamless integration.
#### Cloud Integration:
- Develop and implement strategies for cloud adoption and integration, leveraging cloud services to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud deployments in the air transport sector.
#### Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with airport authorities, airline partners, and other stakeholders including internal to understand their requirements and deliver tailored networking solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with delivered solutions.
#### Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
#### Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for all networking solutions, including design specifications, configuration details, and operational procedures.
- Generate regular reports on project progress, network performance, and security status for internal and client review.
#### Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in networking technologies, security solutions, and cloud computing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of solution delivery.
EXPERIENCE
* 5-8 years of experience in Information Technology Telecom Industry or Air Transport Industry technology in a technical pre-sales role* Proven track record in producing communicating and documenting successful technical customer solutions* Pre-Sales Business and or Commercial experience is a plus

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
* BS level Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Computer Technologies* At least 1 technical certification is required (e.g. ASEP TE STE ESE CCIE/CCNP/CCDP/CCIE/IPT)
