Johnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing company is looking for a Branch Manager 5-10 years’ experience working in California’s municipal, agricultural, industrial water, pump, well, or related infrastructure markets. This key leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including operations, financial results, team development, customer relationships, safety, and continued growth throughout the region. This is a Direct role for a company in Camarillo, CA Salary: $160K The Branch Manager serves as the senior on-site leader for the company location, partnering closely with leadership and corporate support teams to ensure projects are executed successfully, customers receive a high level of service, and the branch consistently meets its operational and financial objectives. This opportunity is well suited for an established operations leader who understands technical field-service environments and can balance day-to-day execution with developing people, improving processes, and growing a business. What You'll Lead Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including project execution, scheduling, field activities, logistics, safety, and service delivery. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, field crews, and administrative staff. Own branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, cost controls, margins, and overall P&L performance. Establish clear expectations and accountability while developing and mentoring branch employees. Partner with Finance, HR, Safety, IT, Fleet, and other corporate teams to support branch operations and company initiatives. Lead local business development efforts and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Identify opportunities to expand companies presence within municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets. Support pricing strategies, proposal development, and efforts to improve profitability and customer value. Develop strong vendor and subcontractor relationships to support operational needs. Drive continuous improvement through consistent processes, operational best practices, and measurable performance standards. Promote a culture centered around safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning. Utilize EOS tools, including L10 meetings, scorecards, and issue tracking, to support communication and execution. Support strategic growth initiatives, including potential new markets, branch expansion, and acquisition integration when applicable. What We're Looking For 10+ years of progressive experience within pump and well systems, water infrastructure, construction, technical field services, or a comparable operational environment. Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex operations. Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with budgets, forecasting, KPIs, job costing, and P&L responsibility. Proven ability to build accountable, high-performing teams while maintaining a strong safety culture. Strong customer relationship and business development capabilities. Excellent communication, decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM, ERP, and other operational business systems. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
