JSG is hiring a QC Inspector -1st shift for our client in Orange, CA. Must be willing to walk and move in/out on the Production floor. This position will focus on first article reports, creating work methods sheets, supplier communication, and supplier performance metrics reports. Pay rate: $23-$28 DOE | Temp to Hire Responsibilities: Handle incoming/receiving inspection duties Inspection of detailed parts, assembles, and first articles Write NCMR and report metrics Follow up with production and leader regarding nonconforming products Collaborate in and lead MRB meetings Create work methods sheets Cross sections and inspection photographs At times, may need to communicate with suppliers Collaborate with respective departments in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable and utilizes data to make informed decisions Enforce and interpret the Quality and AS9100 QMS standards Involve supervisor with all quality deficiencies Requirements: 3-5 years experience in quality strongly preferred Previous inspection of plastics/metals preferred Knowledge of inspection equipment required Experience with first article inspection/AS9102 first articles strongly preferred Education & Technical Qualifications High School or GED required Knowledge of ISO 9001 required System Proficiency: Google Enterprise, ADP, GlobalShop #D800 JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
