The successful candidate will be part of the Learning & Development team. As Instructor Learning & Development, he/she will be responsible for courseware development, course delivery and assessments, in the domain of Aircraft Weight and Balance, Load Control and Dangerous Goods Regulations, to ensure SIA ground staff and relevant partners are certified to meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Courses & Assessments:
- Deliver instructor-led training and assessments, for courses in the domain of Aircraft Weight and Balance, Load Control and Dangerous Goods Regulations, whether it be in-person, virtual, or hybrid.
- Ensure effective learner participation and engagement during courses, determined through an average course evaluation satisfaction score.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity in administering and marking of assessments.
- Develop and/or Refine Courseware:
- Curate, design, develop, and/or refine courseware and learning materials, incorporating up-to-date and relevant information on regulations, systems, processes, or polices, partnering internal stakeholders and associate trainers as required.
- Structure courseware and learning materials for ease of understanding, learning transfer, retention, and applicability. This includes, but is not limited to, incorporating the necessary Aircraft Weight & Balance, Load Control documentation and Dangerous Goods Regulations in accordance with regulations by IATA, CAAS, or SIA.
- Support E-Learning Design & Development:
- Partner the relevant internal line business units and outsourced e-learning development provider, to provide subject matter expertise and learning material(s) as required.
- Support Learning Administration & Engagement:
- Work with the Learner Experience Team in handling and resolving matters pertaining to learning experience as required, including but not limited to, attendance taking, communication of assessment grades / scores, dissemination of assessment scores and certificates, local transportation arrangements, or pre and post course administration.
- Support the coaching of Associate Trainers to upskill and prepare them to deliver classes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness:
- Conduct post-course review to identify areas for improvement and refine programme (where appropriate) to meet the learning outcomes.
