AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
What do we offer?: Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).

- Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
- Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
As autonomous systems and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) become increasingly integrated into complex airspace, and comercial air traffic is constantly increasing, the demand for robust surveillance and collision-avoidance technologies has reached a critical point. Current surveillance systems face significant challenges in managing high-density traffic and evolving safety requirements. Consequently, the development of advanced Detect and Avoid (DAA) protocols and modern collision avoidance systems like ACAS X is essential to ensure operational safety and regulatory compliance.
This intership aims to bridge the gap between emerging regulatory standards and technological implementation. The primary objective is to leverage cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence techniques to analyze and interpret new DAA and ACAS X regulations, creating a foundation for the automated design and development of next-generation surveillance products. By doing so, this research seeks to streamline the transition from legal frameworks to functional, intelligent safety systems.
