Role Description The Weight and Balance Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. This role is responsible for preparing and verifying aircraft load sheets and weight and balance calculations in accordance with regulatory requirements, airline procedures, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing cargo, baggage, and passenger data; coordinating with ramp, cargo, and passenger service teams to ensure accurate loading; and monitoring load distribution to maintain aircraft performance and safety parameters. The coordinator communicates directly with flight crews and operations control to provide timely load information, resolve discrepancies, and update documentation before departure. The role also involves using specialized software and tools, maintaining precise records, and supporting continuous improvement in load planning processes.

- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced airport environment.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in airline or ground handling operations, familiarity with cargo and baggage handling processes, and understanding of aircraft types and basic performance considerations.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in aviation, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to meet airport security and background check requirements is essential.
