Job Summary: Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, computing cost of sales, EAC’s, etc. in support of program management and the business. Essential Functions: Prepare cost estimates of new or special products for establishing production forecasts. Calculate Estimates at Completion (EAC’s) for Production and Development Programs using an Actual Cost Basis. Compute and apply Cost of Sales, including Catch-up Adjustments based on Sales, EAC’s, and Percent Complete progress. Support Program Management with cost projections and ad hoc reporting on a daily basis. Responsible for routine compilation of manufacturing costs for inventory accountability, distribution of factory cost, verification of actual costs, and computation of variances, etc. Calculate and support projected burden rates, including “Unallowable” costs. Support Customer and DCAA Audits of Historical and Projected Rates, Labor Cost, material Cost, and Fee. Apply CAS, FAR, and GAAP to specific business applications. Devise, install or control systems for determining unit cost of products or services. Classify production costs into wages, material and overhead. Calculate and Prepare specified Journal Entries for various monthly activities. Support Monthly Close process as required. Other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 2-5 of experience in job cost experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience. Thorough knowledge of general accounting including thorough skills knowledge plus the application of general accounting theory. Must be proficient in Excel, Access, Power Point, and MS word, software programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must have good command of the English language, oral and written. Eligibility Requirement : This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
