About the role
As a Node Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) and the Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS). Your responsibilities will include delivering maintenance support services for the existing DHFCS, providing vital communications support to the Australian Defence Force, and supporting the implementation and operation of the EDHFCS. You will be tasked with solving technical issues and ensuring compliance with approved maintenance procedures.
To be successful in this role
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines
- Have a strong work ethic and capability to engage with a close knit team
- Exposure to a similiar role within a defence industry
