YOUR TASKS
The MCC - Senior Coordinator is the direct contact person for all maintenance stations within the EAT Part145 network.
He/she ensures that all aircraft under maintenance at the EAT Part145 stations are processed smoothly.
- Planning and coordination of maintenance work in order to determine the operational capability of the aircraft within the ground times and the required capacities.
- Provide technical support to all EAT - Part 145 outstations on all issues.
- Support in maintenance planning
- Preparation of a schedule for major maintenance events (Gantt Chart)
- Continuously track the expected release times for the non-operational aircraft and initiate actions to minimise the impact on the DHL network
- Close cooperation with the MOC
- Verification of completeness of incoming aircraft documents from EAT Part 145 maintenance stations.
- Coordination of work packages in LEJ together with the Work Preparation Coordinator
- Coordination of complaints with the Troubleshooting and Engineering Department
- - Monitoring and allocation of Real Time Planning data
- Supporting third party activities as required
- Issuing external orders to subcontractors according to maintenance requirements
- Notification to the aircraft operator of planned maintenance changes that affect scheduled time on the ground
- Arranging "flying spanners" for specific aircraft routes and additional charters for EAT personnel for all EAT Part 145 outstations.
- Other tasks arising from the operational business
- Coordination of daily requests to the MCC
- Written and telephone correspondence in all operational matters
- Monitoring and ensuring maintenance and layover reporting to all contracted trades
- Performing special tasks and project work
- Observe company policy
- Follow efficiency of processes and suggest process improvements
- Assigning work activities to Line Control / Task Control
- Support with troubleshooting or technical complaints in the hangar, the apron and the EAT outstations
- Hangar time support and coordination of major events and AOG Recovery
YOUR PROFILE
- Relevant knowledge of aircraft maintenance and organisational requirements for flight safety, security, quality, airworthiness and general operations of an airline.
- Hold a Part 66 CAT B1 or CAT B2 aircraft maintenance licence.
- At least one operationally relevant type rating desirable
- Willingness to obtain the CAT C rating
- Comprehensive understanding of the German/European legal and regulatory framework and other statutory requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Very good leadership and management skills
- Decisiveness and assertiveness to find flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment
- Proven analytical skills
- Quality of service is important to us
- Self-confidence, self-motivation, sense of responsibility and the ability to delegate and work under high time pressure
