Role Introduction
Reports to: Aircraft Engineer.
To perform operational functions ensuring delivery of a safe and exceptionally reliable travel experience that supports our brand and business whilst meeting all compliance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance on Cathay Group aircraft and third-party customer aircraft under the supervision of an Aircraft Engineer.
- Support local or overseas operational relief duties and other assigned operational activities when required.
- Monitor third-party supplier performance and assist in resolving operational issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to contingency and disruption recovery activities, including diversions, charters and aircraft type changes.
- Service and maintain station ground equipment, vehicles and facilities.
- Support internal, regulatory and third-party audits and assist in addressing audit findings within required timelines.
- Maintain station documentation, permits and passes to ensure validity and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with local Occupational Health and Safety requirements and applicable regulations.
- Participate in performance discussions, goal achievement activities and career development planning.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, productivity and service delivery.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Should have completed a Diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, Training And Experience
- Demonstrably aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations.
- Have (or be willing to receive) induction training / on the job training as required covering but not limited to:
- Aircraft and Ramp Safety Awareness
- Company Procedures Awareness training
- Human Factors Awareness training
- Other training as requested
- Four-wheeler driving licence.
- Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in India
