Job Title: Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical validation, reliability testing, test fixture design, and Python-based test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute mechanical validation and reliability test plans, including thermal, vibration, drop, fatigue, and life-cycle testing.
- Design, build, and qualify electro-mechanical test fixtures, automated rigs, and instrumentation systems.
- Develop Python scripts for test automation, data acquisition, instrument control, and analysis.
- Perform FMEA, failure analysis, tolerance analysis, GD&T, DOE, Weibull analysis, and Gauge R&R.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot system issues, and prepare technical reports.
- Manage test equipment, external vendors, and equipment commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers and technicians.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in electro-mechanical engineering, mechanical validation, or reliability testing.
- Hands-on experience in test fixture design, instrumentation, DAQ systems, motion control, and sensor integration.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis.
- Knowledge of GD&T, metrology, DOE, SPC, and reliability analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in consumer electronics, environmental testing, FEA, and automated test systems.
- Experience with capital equipment procurement, vendor management, and laboratory setup.
Work Requirements:
This is an on-site role in Sunnyvale, CA. Candidates must arrange their own transportation and be available to work on-site during required working hours.
