Job Description:
1. **Passenger and Crew Coordination**: As the aircraft arrives, you will warmly welcome passengers and facilitate smooth coordination and communication between the crew, handling agents, catering, cleaning services, air traffic control, customs, and immigration authorities.
2. **Document Management and Flight Preparation**: Ensure that all necessary flight documents are prepared accurately and completely, including flight plans, load sheets, and passenger manifests. Maintain comprehensive flight records and statistical analysis of flight coupons, ensuring all post-flight documents are filed correctly.
3. **Catering and Service Orders**: Place orders for daily catering services and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
4. **Lost Baggage Handling**: In cases of lost baggage, diligently coordinate with the handling agent to locate and deliver lost items to their owners. If necessary, manage the compensation process according to airline policies.
5. **Supervision of Ground Operations**: Supervise daily ground operations to ensure compliance with safety, security, and service standards. Work closely with handling agents and other service providers to monitor performance and ensure efficient turnaround times.
6. **Problem Solving and Decision Making**: Address and resolve any operational issues or disruptions that may arise, ensuring minimal impact on flight schedules and passenger satisfaction. This includes managing irregular operations, such as flight delays, cancellations, or emergencies.
7. **Handling Customer Complaints**: Act as the point of contact for passenger complaints and feedback. Listen to and understand customer concerns, and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as needed to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
8. **Operational Invoice Management**: Review, verify, and process operational invoices, including those related to handling, catering, and other third-party services. Ensure that all invoices are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner for payment processing.
9. **Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders**: Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments (such as sales, finance, and operations) and external stakeholders (such as airport authorities and service providers) to ensure smooth operations and adherence to Turkish Airlines' standards.
10. **Reporting and Continuous Improvement**: Provide regular reports on station performance, customer feedback, and any operational issues. Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with the team to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and service quality.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or at least high school graduation.
- Permanent residence permit in the respective country (the company does not provide or assist with work permits).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in civil aviation or tourism.
- The ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in local language(s).
- Availability to work in shifts, including weekend and public holidays.
- A team player who can also work independently when needed.
- Ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated a sense of responsibility and the ability to make accurate and effective decisions.
