The role
As an Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be working in an exciting role to support a new project working closely other Babcock sites, Engineers and Administration staff providing administrative support to the various teams within the future Royal Navy future submarines area of the business.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide executive administrative, secretarial support and document control to various Senior Managers and their teams. You will be responsible to provide:
- Diary management, minute taking and distribution for the Directors and their HoDs
- Using the matrix booking system for booking desks and conference rooms
- Provide key interfaces between all departments and various sites
- Maintaining the logs for the pool cars and ensuring they are fit for purpose – reporting any issues/damage to the appropriate department
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days in the office/onsite and 1 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Administrator:
- Experienced Administrator
- Excellent MS office skills
- Proactive and strong time management skills and ability to work off own initiative and manage own workload effectively
- Effective decision making/problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Qualifications for the Administrator:
- GCSE in English and Maths at grade C or equivalent
- NVQ L2 in Business and Administration or equivalent

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
