The Role
As a Proposals Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will have the opportunity to develop robust proposal strategies for major opportunities within our Land sector.
Day-to-day, you’ll support the proposals management lead in the application of best practice in proposals management and bid writing throughout the sector.
- Develop and implement effective proposal strategies and management plans
- Line management responsibility for proposal writers and coordinators
- Develop, review and challenge the articulation of clear win themes based on emerging strategies
- Ensure proposals best reflect the benefits and value offering to customers
- Support and drive continuous improvement
This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Experience required of the Proposals Manager
- Proposals Management experience across major bids
- Enhanced skills in bid writing
- Ideally track record of coaching others however not essential
- Ability to identify and articulate customer value
Qualifications for the Proposals Manager
- Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant subject
- APMP beneficial but not essential
