Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Head of Aircraft Management on behalf of one of our leading clients based in Thailand.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Aircraft Management to lead and oversee all aspects of our aircraft management operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our fleet is managed effectively, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aircraft operations, management, and maintenance, along with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in the private aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for aircraft management to align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of aircraft managers, maintenance professionals, and support staff.
- Ensure the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the fleet.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the aircraft management department, including flight operations, maintenance, and scheduling.
- Ensure all aircraft are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer specifications.
- Manage aircraft schedules to optimize utilization and minimize downtime.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Budget & Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the aircraft management department, including operational costs, maintenance expenses, and staffing.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures as needed.
Client Relations:
- Act as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients regarding aircraft management services.
- Address and resolve any client concerns or issues related to aircraft performance or service.
Safety & Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft management.
- Understanding of the Asian private aviation market preferred.
- Fluency in English; a second Asian language preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, aircraft maintenance, and flight operations.
- Proven track record of managing teams and complex operations.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
