The F135 Engine Design and System Integration (EDSI) organization is seeking a self-starting individual with strong teamwork skills and good work ethics to work with the F135 International Engineering Team, supporting the F135 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Partner Countries.
In this role, the candidate will support engineering and export activities involving F135 International customer technical engagements, such as Technical Interchange Meetings, International System Integrated Product Team (SIPT) and Airworthiness meetings, and standing recurring discussions.
The individual will interface with the internal engineering component integrated product teams (CIPTs), Program Office, Program Chief Engineers, and the Joint Program Office (JPO) customer, and directly with FMS and Partner propulsion representatives, as needed.
What You Will Do
- Work with module center and system engineering teams to bring visibility to customer issues and concerns and help drive solutions across engine components and systems
- Participate in customer campaigns from the capabilities of our products and services
- Support redaction, marking and export release of technical documents internationally
- Communicate technical topics with both JPO and international customers while following appropriate Global Trade export and Program requirements
What You Will Learn
- You will gain a system level understanding of how the F135 propulsion systems fit together and function within the larger air vehicle
- Exposure to the overall process of campaigning for a customer to developing, delivering, and supporting our products in the field
Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a degree program in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

- Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience

What is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
