Role Summary
The Manager Global Sales Analytics & Ops is responsible for leading a team of analysts that handle all analytics functions), automation, and the end-to-end contracting function for the Sales organization at Alaska Air Group (AAG). As a people leader, this role leads and establishes priorities for the team to meet our Sales goals and identifies areas of significant incremental revenue opportunity to move the business forward with executive level reporting and presentation of data insights.
Key Duties
Leads and establishes priorities for a team of Global Sales Operations and Analytics analysts to meet Sales goals, build robust executive level reporting, dashboards, and financial models that support Account Managers and maximize Sales profitability.
Oversees the Contracting process from end-to-end ensuring the team is supporting Account Managers and hitting internal turn time goals and key metrics surrounding areas such as contract review, ROI modeling, building of contract terms, issuing addendums, and updating our enablement tools (Salesforce, PRISM, Docusign, and the Sales Server).
Prepares executive level leadership presentation materials including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting focused on data analytics that lead to actionable results for the team to generate performance improvements. Hosts regular tie-ins with senior leadership to present findings and performance updates.
Partners with senior leadership and the Commercial Analytics team to support our annual revenue budgeting process. Prepares and implements our regional and global sales plans and goals and ensures Alaska Air Group is well positioned among its competitors.
Seeks out and takes ownership of new and innovative analytics initiatives. Defines and measures complex KPI metrics and aligns goals to drive business process and sales revenue improvements focused on incrementality.
Develops people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on delegation for stretch assignments, growing and developing the team for capacity and growth, looking at performance across the team and time management. Displays servant leadership by knowing the business and having no fear of assisting team members and lending a hand in analytics, data modeling and complex analysis.
Shape culture of team through action, presence, and reinforcement of behaviors
Responsible for monitoring and reporting the budget for (single function or discipline)
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
5 years of experience in sales, analytics, business, or related area.
2 years of people leadership experience (can be program or product leadership).
Bachelor’s degree with a business administration, analytical or related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team to ensure goals are met/exceeded.
A motivated self-starter, with the ability to work independently and to prioritize assignments effectively across the organization.
Demonstrated initiative and accountability to drive measurable results.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Prior airline experience in Sales or the commercial organization.
Advanced data modeling and forecasting skills.
Advanced ability with Excel and other database programs (SQL, Alteryx, Tableau).

Salary Range
$113,200 - $169,800 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
