Job Description:
The Operational Excellence Lead drives continuous improvement throughout the CS segment through a balanced approach of:
- Lean Deployment: Partner with sector teams in operational excellence journey through people engagement, facilitation of kaizen, and driving customer focus.
- Implement lean initiatives to identify and eliminate waste out of processes, reduce cycle times, and drive cost savings. Lead 3P Transformations, Lean Kaizen Events, and Problem Solving RCCA Events as needed.
- Systems Support: Responsible for managing and improving upon processes and systems integral to our e3 (Excellence, Everywhere, Every Day) Culture, including
- Manufacturing Cost Diagnostics
- Enterprise Op-Ex Framework Deployment
- Operational Excellence Training & Development
- Segment Coordination of employee engagement initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Process Analysis: Facilitate the collection, analysis and visualization of existing process data aligned with the customer value stream to improve safety, quality, and cost.
- Project Coordination: Engage cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and monitoring of improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and validated attainment of objectives.
- Change Management: Ensure successful adoption of change through effective management of the human side of change.
- Training, Development and Learning: Support and provide training of lean tools and methodologies, and identify self-development opportunities.
- Contribute to Culture: Stay above the line while working with complex changes and conflict. Engage and contribute to the continuous improvement mindset.
- Digital Transformation: Provide fresh perspective on current CI processes, offering automation solutions to reduce teams’ administrative duties.
- Approximately 25% Domestic US travel required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior quality/continuous improvement experience deploying Lean Methodologies. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior quality/continuous improvement experience deploying Lean Methodologies. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior quality/continuous improvement experience deploying Lean Methodologies.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $MIN - $MAX. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area and New York City, the salary range for this role is $84,000 - $156,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
