Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is seeking a
Document Control Support 3/4 to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility in
Huntsville, Alabama.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Supports Configuration Management with preparation and transmission of various levels of documentation into the government customer’s system.
- Performs operational duties in support of regulatory and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance documentation; coordinating the verification, approval, and processing of documentation revisions; and tracking document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency.
- Position will be onsite with a small satellite group, collocated with a government customer. Team members each fulfill multiple rolls and continually evolve to learn what is needed to support the group.
- Documentation control will be approximately 80-85% of this position with 15-20% being “other duties as assigned”. All other duties can be trained on the job.
Basic Qualifications
This position can be filled at either a level 03 or level 04.
Basic Qualifications For a Level 03
- High School with 4 additional years of education and/or related experience
- Familiar with documentation management in configuration management
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to learn new computer systems
- Capable of multitasking and working deadlines during major reviews, occasionally requiring overtime work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willing to work public outreach events a few times a year in the early evenings or on Saturdays (paid)
- Willing to fill additional roles (of appropriate level, with training)
- Is an energetic team player
- Capable of interacting with the government customer appropriately
Preferred Experience
Experience in documentation control management

Salary Range: $46,400 - $77,300
Salary Range 2: $55,700 - $92,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
