Crew Assist and Qualification Manager to lead the Team of Crew Assist and Records employees and ensure availability to support the Pilot and Flight Attendant Teams in delivering high satisfaction to questions and problem resolution compliant with policy, procedures and tracking of compliance documentation.

Crew Assist and Qualification Manager Overview:
The Manager of Crew Assist and Qualification will be responsible for leading a Team of Crew Assist and Records employees and ensuring availability to support the Pilot and Flight Attendant Teams in delivering high satisfaction to questions and problem resolution compliant with policy, procedures and tracking of compliance documentation.
Essential roles and responsibilities of a Crew Assist and Qualification Manager:

- Identifies touchpoints with Flight Operations, Inflight Operations, Pilots and Flight Attendants where policy, processes, systems, communications, and documentation are required to enable high-quality support of Pilot and Flight Attendant Teams.
- Manages development, deployment, monitoring and of processes, systems, documentation and communication protocols required ensuring touchpoints deliver high-quality support to Pilot and Flight Attendant Teams regarding crew support and documentation issues.
- Trains and develops and leads Crew Assist employees to support the mission of Crew Assist and Crew Qualification in providing professional, timely and accurate responses to both crew members and internal Flight Operations stakeholders (Training, Crew Scheduling, etc.).
- Provides complex Contact Center support for all inquiries and concerns from Pilots and Flight Attendants triaging, escalating, informing while maintaining a “high touch” experience.
- Collaborates with the Sr. Director of Flight Operations and Senior Manager, Inflight to develop and deploy processes and procedures and monitor their effectiveness.
- Routinely audits and examines systems/logs/data demonstrating policy & administrative compliance as well as effectiveness to mission; enacts failure-mode analysis and recovery processes where compliance or mission success is imperiled.
- Maintains currency in subject matter expertise of: Company and Department policies and procedures, Union Agreements, applicable to job duties, Company Drug and Alcohol Program, Company Travel Policies, and other regulatory compliance items related to Crew Qualification.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
The qualifications we are looking for in a Crew Assist and Qualification Manager include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of the following:
- Working knowledge of Part 121 operations
- Experience with union collective bargaining agreement administration
- Experience with coordinating leave programs
- Familiarity with Advanced Qualification Program management
- (AC 120-54A - Advanced Qualification Program - (Change 1)
- FAA Order 8900.1 volume 3, chapter 21, sections 1 through 5
- 14 CFR Part 121 Subpart Y
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- strong organization and time management skills as well as the ability to multi-task
- Flexibility and operational availability 24/7
