GoJet Airlines' Assistant Chief Pilot is responsible for supporting the Chief Pilot in overseeing flight operations, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards. This role involves mentoring and managing pilots, coordinating with various departments, and assisting in resolving operational issues to maintain a smooth and efficient flight operation.
Qualifications
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- CL-65 Type Rating.
- Flight experience in a Part 121 operation.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation safety protocols.
- Knowledge in aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

The Goal of the Assistant Chief Pilot is to ensure safety is the first consideration in all operations.
- Assist the Chief Pilot in managing and supervising pilots to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Support pilot scheduling, training, performance reviews, etc.
- Act as a liaison between flight crews and other departments to address operational needs.
- Collaborate with the Safety and Operations teams to ensure compliance with FAA standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pilot training programs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to flight crews, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
