The Role
You’ll join the Naval Nuclear Bid Team, as either a bid manager or bid co-ordinator, where you will own and deliver the growing UK and international submarine support pipeline.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the development and delivery of bids, proposals, and tenders, ensuring the tenders meet customer timescales and specification through effective planning and co-ordination of bid activities.
- Review and interpret customer requirements and ensure that bids and tenders meet these requirements at optimum benefit to the business.
- Effective coordination of documentation and gate reviews in accordance with Babcock’s Business Winning process and support colleagues to accurately manage the pipeline and sales information.
What you’ll need:
- A degree or relevant qualification within bid management is preferred or experience in lieu of formal qualification will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of all stages of bidding process.
- Literate in finance and commercial aspects of bid delivery.
- A drive to own and shape your career development journey.
