Advanced Project Engineer/Lead Engineer
As an Advanced Project Engineer/Lead Engineer at Honeywell, in Asker, you will have a significant impact on managing and executing complex engineering projects. You will work in cross-functional teams and ensure that project deliverables are met on time and within budget. Your technical expertise and project management skills will be crucial in driving successful project outcomes and achieving high customer satisfaction. You will work on projects in Scandinavia but projects from other regions could also apply. You will be leading the project teams which is often a mix of local engineers and engineers from other regions in Europe depending on the nature and scope of the project. Key requirements
·Collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary engineers.
·Serve as the technical interface with customers, establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
·Act as the technical liaison to third-party suppliers, ensuring the correct functionality and integration of their deliverables within Honeywell systems or solutions.
·Ensure all necessary prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place before starting work.
·Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements across all disciplines.
·Report progress, technical issues, and work close with the Project Manager.
Key skills and qualifications
·An engineering degree, preferably in Automation and Control or Electrical Engineering, although other engineering degrees will be considered.
·A passion for the design and development of distributed control systems and/or SCADA systems.
·Strong ability to interact directly with customers and manage project design life cycles.
·Proficiency in producing technical design and verification specifications and Skill in application software and hardware designs.
·Proficient in English and Norwegian
·Strong communication skills, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
