The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking competent, qualified, experienced and motivated team members as we establish a significant CH-47F (Chinook) Maintenance and Logistics Support program in Australia.
The program will be located at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland in support of a new Boeing Defence Australia customer. Some members of this newly established team will also be required to support deployed operations within Australia for periods of 4 weeks or more each year.
Persons applying for this role may also be required to work day shift, afternoon shift and night shift hours during the week. As a maintenance operation planning analyst position, you are also expected to work reasonable hours of overtime to ensure the customers operational outcomes are achieved on any given day)
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning workshops
- Maintain the planning integrity of the CH-47 fleet health:
- Manage planning forecast to ensure no maintenance is overdue,
- Develop and maintain maintenance reporting tools for:
- Optimize the CH-47 Fleet Maintenance Stagger;
- In conjunction with Operations and the Flight Line Maintenance Coordinator, schedule and maintain aircraft to meet the flying program and configuration requirements
Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, aviation experience is an advantage;
- Previous experience working with maintenance management systems (cMRO an advantage);
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance data management;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high tempo operating environment;
- High level of computer literacy;
- Experience working in a safety critical environment.
- Ability to obtain a ‘Baseline' Security clearance.
